Some couples bring an energy that turns an entire wedding day into a celebration — and Lauren & Cody’s winter wedding at Quonquont Farm in Whately, Massachusetts was exactly that. From start to finish, their day was filled with laid-back joy, infectious laughter, and nonstop fun. Their connection was effortless, their reception was electric, and the cozy winter atmosphere made the entire celebration feel warm, intimate, and unforgettable.
This was the kind of wedding day that reminds you just how powerful good energy is — every moment felt natural, exciting, and full of heart.
Winter Wedding Vibes at Quonquont Farm
Lauren and her girlfriends spent the morning getting ready surrounded by the rustic charm of Quonquont Farm. The space that they had to get ready was unreal. It was basically an entire house for her and the girls, and Taylor Swift was blasting all morning. The winter light flooding through the windows paired beautifully with the cozy textures of the venue — wooden beams, vintage decor, and the last bits of foliage creating a soft, timeless backdrop for the day.
The venue was so spread out and there was so much to see. Every single location was beautiful and looked so seamless together. The wedding day coordinator and the venue's employees were an absolute dream to work with. They even had golf carts ready to take the media team to several locations.
Ceremony at Quonquont Farm
The ceremony took place outside under a big pavilion at Quonquont Farm, offering the perfect seasonal blend of rustic warmth and winter romance. Guests were wrapped in blankets as Lauren walked down the aisle to meet Cody — whose smile said everything the moment he saw her.
Their vows were heartfelt but filled with lightness and laughter — a perfect reflection of their laid-back, genuine connection. Capturing the natural audio of these moments made their story that much more powerful — preserving the tones of their voices and the raw emotion of being fully present in the moment.
Winter Portraits on the Farm
After the ceremony, we explored the farm grounds for portraits. The winter landscape added a peaceful softness to their photos and film — red trees, crisp air, and quiet moments away from the reception excitement. When I tell you these are my favorite portraits to date....they were STUNNING.
These portraits perfectly showcased Lauren & Cody’s fun dynamic — playful, relaxed, and totally in love.
An Electric Reception
Once the reception kicked off, the energy went through the roof. What really kicked it off was their first dance which was to an upbeat song. They skipped around, madly in love, and then their friends and family joined them. From then on their people brought nonstop excitement and fun for the rest of the night.
